Process of a Veneer Procedure
Veneers are made from porcelain or a white resin composite that look like real teeth. They provide a conservative approach to changing tooth color, shape, or size. Up to three appointments may be needed to effectively apply veneers to the teeth. Diagnosis, treatment planning, preparation, and bonding are all things that must be done to create a beautiful smile with veneers.
The dentist will begin with a diagnosis of your teeth to find out what the exact damage is. Treatment will decide what form of cosmetic dentistry is necessary. The preparation of the veneers begins with your cosmetic dentists removing a small amount of enamel from the fronts of your teeth. The veneer will replace the removed enamel, filling in the tooth with a new surface. The artificial surfaces are fitted and adjusted and then bonded to the front of your teeth.
